Ligularia dentata reniformis, commonly known as Tractor Seat is an outstanding clump forming foliage plant with large kidney shaped glossy green leaves that resemble a tractor seat.

Cultural
Prefers a part shade to full shade position with moist but well-draining soil. Water regularly during warmer periods to make sure soil is keeping moist and foliage isn’t drooping. Apply mulch around the base of the plants to help conserve moisture. Keep the plant tidy by cutting off any dead or damaged leaves at the base, same goes with deadheading after flowering. Ligularia are prone to slug and snail attacks, treat accordingly.

Perfect for tropical or lush gardens, makes a bold statement when mass planted, works particularly well when planted under trees and larger shrubs. Plant with other favourites from our Urban Lush range such as Philodenron ‘Xanadu’ and Arthropodium ‘Matapouri Bay’.
